Wendy Clark

Miss Wendy has performed with three professional ballet companies, received her academic training at NYU, and holds a certification in all levels of the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, and has over fourteen years’ of teaching experience. 

She has danced as a soloist with Ballet Spokane, performed with City Ballet of San Diego, the Eugene Ballet Company, and as a resident guest artist with Austin Metamorphosis Dance Ensemble. In addition to her solid foundation in ballet, she has a background with other forms of training such as: Limon modern, contact improvisation, Forysthe Improvisational Technologies, yoga, released modern based in Bartinieff Fundamentals, jazz, contemporary, and musical theater.  She recently earned an M.A. in ballet pedagogy and a certification in all levels of the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) National Training Curriculum.  When teaching, she focuses on teaching the underlying principles of movement that serve as foundations for all steps. Her expertise in diverse dance techniques, human development, and educational philosophy gives her the tools necessary to effectively teach students so they may develop both technically and artistically.


Jessie Levin

Jessie is a New York City based performer, dance teacher, choreographer, and certified personal trainer.  Originally from Syosset, New York, Jessie discovered her love for dance at the young age of 3. Growing up, she competed in various styles around Long Island and studied ballet with American Ballet Theater.  Jessie wanted to continue her dance education and received her BFA in Dance Performance from the University at Buffalo in 2018. While at school, she studied the styles of jazz, contemporary, ballet, tap, aerial silks, and Spanish web. Since graduating, Jessie has had the incredible opportunity to perform works at DUMBO Dance Festival and APEX Showcase at Peridance in NYC. She has also traveled the world while performing for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings in a variety of shows like the famous tribute concert, Legends In Concert.  Through dancing, Jessie discovered a passion for fitness. She decided to pursue a certification in personal training with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Jessie aims to inspire and share her passion and knowledge with other movers.


Shianne Kaiser

Shianne started dancing at the young age of 3 in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She has been trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Modern, Pointe and Lyrical. She spent summers traveling all over Canada and to the United States to compete and train, including spending 4 summers at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet summer training program. After graduating high school in 2013 Shianne moved to Franklin, MA to get her Bachelor's Degree in Dance. In college she performed in over 30 shows as well as musical productions. After graduating college Shianne moved to New York to be in the center of all things arts. Becoming a dance teacher has been Shianne's dream as long as she can remember and is so happy to be a part of the Island Dance Academy family.

Theresa Campbell

Miss Tee has been dancing her entire life and when she was asked to begin teaching at the early age of 16 it was not even a question! In addition to all of her time spent training at the dance studio, Miss Tee was a part of her high school dance team and competed nationally with them.  Theresa studied all forms of dance, including acrobatics.  Miss Tee has been with Island Dance for over 10 years and still continues to teach in addition to being a Registered Nurse.
